Library Activities

1. Best User Award

     To increase the reading habits and to motivate the students for reading library started Best user Award for the best user of the library. This award is presented every year in the annual prize distribution ceremony of the college. The nature of the award is Cash prize Rs.501, book and certificate.

2. Books Exhibition

     Library organizes books exhibition on the occasion of special day of the author as well as World book day.

3. Library Orientation /Information Literacy programme.

     Library conducts information literacy programe for the student community to make them aware about the various information sources and library services.

4.CELEBRATION OF Dr.S.R.RANGNATHAN BIRTH ANNIVERSARY AS A LIBRARIAN DAY.

     Department of Library celebrate Dr.S.R.Rangnathan Birth anniversary as a Librarian day every year on 12 August.
